Resonance gives you the mana for Chameleons ability --> 8/8

Copy the ability with the Rings - 16/16

If it is wrong to post cards that work well together, they should probably shut down this website, cause that is called a "combo", you know?

Yes, it's a decent combo in its own right, but what stops me from throwing out an Unsummon after you spend most or all of your mana? It doesn't really matter how powerful a creature is—or how much mana you paid to build it up—if it's stuck in your hand.

Yes, you can cast Unsummon. You can cast Unsummon on lots of creatures brought into play with a combo, that's the way it is.

Well, I also think that Pinkie's point was that while we're all capable of understanding what Rings of Brighthearth does, we're not so helpless that we need every combination pointed out for us... I'd also like to add that if I could have phrased that in any nicer way, I would have, E-n-S. You've been a member of the site as long as I have; surely you understand how difficult it can be to tolerate some of the things we see. Pinkie just felt the need to be more... vocal about it.

I'll finish by posting a small suggestion of how you could make this combo slightly more threatening: Earthcraft, Overgrowth and a Simic Growth Chamber. Three cheap yet effective cards that, on their own, could bring the Colossus' power into high double-digits.

I know you're not "helpless" and this combo is not THAT creative, but I guess there are also some beginners here who don't know a lot of nice cards and play-worthy combos. I post them, so new players can find them with the search engine.

There has been plenty of times in the past that the request to explain how the cards in a combo interact has been made, even for simple combos.

Ens is correct their are alot of beginners who view this site to learn new things, and some beginners do not see the interacts that we see.  Have the description of how the combo works is not a hinderment to us but can be tremdous help to the beginner.

Besides I didn't think pinkies comment was to point out our understanding or lack off,  i think it was simple sarcasm and nothing more

It's really an interesting combo, but in my opinion, as I think that Pinkie have the same thing in his head, this is a not ended combo. So you obtain a 16/16, protection from black and in sequence you (.....). If you attack, a 1/1 token of the opponent block and, this is it.
You can add to finish the combo, for example:
Berserk: for a 32/16 trample.
Fling/Soul's Fire: for 16 damage.
Triumph of the Hordes: for +1/+1, trample, infect to all your creatures.
I'm not trying to offend or criticize you, the mechanism of the combo is really good, the only problem is because it don't  have an end. I don't konw the others, but that is my opinion.
EDIT: @Gregorius: I think that all members of the site know that you post pertinent topics and replies, but all combos in this site have a way to be stopped, unless all the combo is uncounterable. Even the one of the best combos (if not the one) of Magic: Banefire - Channel - Black Lotus can be countered in the first turn. For all situations, I say Force of Will, Counterspell, Doom Blade, etc. If what you writed above we would use to all posts and combos, I have to post a reply in all your combos (as mine too) writed: FORCE OF WILL / COUNTERSPELL / MANA DRAIN.
