Have them both on the field, when the Sphinx dies, if it dies, pay, tap, and sac protomatter to bring him back, and when sharuum enters the field bring protomatter back into play. viola he never leaves!

or have two sharuums work, i think

I was looking at the two sharuums equation and it looks like, due to the legend effect they would end up infinitely dying and being reborn, which actually combos well with something like soul's attendant for infinite life i believe
