This guy can block any number of creatures, even with flying and shadow.

And pariah prevents you from trample damage.

the pariah also lets it "block" unblockable creatures and the like (including horsemanship)

To be honest, I was thinking of reasons why General's Kabuto would be better than Darksteel Plate, but I couldn't find any. But now I have one.^^
