turn 1: mountain. (tap for a one-drop)
turn 2: another mountain (tap out for a two-drop)
turn 3: strip mine, tap out for crucible of worlds.
turn 4: tap two mountain for boom to destroy strip mine and one of their lands, then in response tap and sac strip mine. then play strip mine from your graveyard. you can tap and sac again if you want....

Strip Mine and Crucible of Worlds alone needs to be a combo.

Its turn 2 (2 of theirs to 1 of mine destroyed)
1)Sandstone needle comes into play tapped
2)Untap Sandstone needle, Lay strip mine. Boom (target strip mine), sac


I prefer (3 of theirs, 1 of mine)
1)Sandstone needle
2)Lay strip mine
3)Lay land, Rite of flame, Boom (Target strip mine), Reverberate (target strip mine), sac strip mine.

Crucible adds to all this fun of course. The countryside crusher is the glue that holds this all together. So honorable mention to my homie!

Also, i do not mean to criticize. I have been waiting for someone to post that combo on here since i made my LD deck, and finally just decided to make an account to touch base with the person who did post it. Yep.. Land Destruction.

I don't see how Sandstone Needle fits in with this. Can you be more clear?

Red mana accelerant land that helps mono-red LD pop turn 2 & 3 when you really need to be hitting those lands. Also combos up lovely with crucible.
