Pretty simple really. Play the Persecutor and smash face. Then use Bazaar Trader to give it to an opponent and enjoy watching them not be able to win.

Assuming that is that they have absolutely no way of killing one of their own creatures, perhaps putting diplomatic immunity on him would help

Abyssal Persecutor might be the best card in Worldwake. Do not go saying it is bad!

i know lol there were plenty of reasons for having 4 before anyone said bazaar trader was useful for it lol, even in standard.

It's not likely that them being able to kill one of their own creatures is going to matter. If they can't deal with this beast of a badass monster, they'll most likely find themselves at negative life very quickly. There are many ways of getting rid of him though, especially in black. My personal favorite is Kaervek's Spite, because you only need to get 3 hits in at the most for a kill.

I don't think it has been outright stated yet: Combo is best used after Persecutor has put your opponent in the negatives. In other words, they die before having to worry about killing a creature they own.
