You still need a way to play Stifle, though, if it's only the first turn.

It'd be kind of poetic to use a Lotus Petal to play it—sacrifice a petal to save the flowers.

Oh no i wasnt thinking of it in terms of "t1 3 colored mana" i was thinking about it in an allaround sort of way!

Sadly this does not work with current wording:

'If Lotus Vale would enter the battlefield, sacrifice two untapped lands instead. If you do, put Lotus Vale onto the battlefield. If you don't, put it into its owner's graveyard.'
