Credit goes to Twogunkid for the bread and butter of this combo, aptly named "DOOM!".

Basically, this leaves your opponent with a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" scenario. If your opponent attacks, you can destroy every one of his creatures by casting the Glyph; otherwise, he loses life equal to the number of creatures he has to tap by the end of his turn by not attacking. The only way out for the opponent is to either not have creatures out, or for him to forcefully tap all of his creatures beforehand.

Do you still get to kill John Romero at the end?

You know I don't remember. Time to get out the old dos computer. Its replay time.

PS Isochron scepeter if you want to be able to repeat (though you probably wouldn't need to)

Well the old girl was a little dusty, but my save was there, and so yes Gerg you can kill John Romero in it. Also I have Simcity 2000, X-Com, Masters of Orion, and Railroad Tycoon to play now.

@Turbine Its a different operating system Windows replaced it. Though it was included up till windows 98 I believe

@ Pal What race? I was typicaling a silicoid rush or a Meklord highly industrial high consumption strategy with my military strategy involving lots of small ships and planetary gates as my big propulsion plan

X-Com! I was playing that one the other day! How about Master of Magic (kinda like Civ, but with magic), or Ascendancy?

Doom was nice, Duke Nukem was better.

Also, an old DOS computer is not required, just a nice little program called DosBox (As you can't create a full-screen dos prompt in Vista or W7).

To be a bit geeky, Dos was the main operating system until WinXP. From Windows 95 until then, Windows was just a graphical overlay that translated the clicks and drags into dos commands.
Ah, the good old days...

Master of magic wasn't bad, but you could never be a good guy. The light spellbook was awful.

X-Com UFO Defense or X-Com terror from the deep. Both were good though the second was my favorite

i recall playing the roger wilco series... space quest

they were hilarious

also commander keen
or the old driving game by broderbund... stunt driver
or older still ... space wars (2-d black and white ship combat for 2 players on a shared keybaord) or qbasic nibbles etc...

(i cant remember 1/2 the games i used to play... i still have an old 1 meg hard drive around here somewhere with a ton of games on it from my old ibm xt computer, also a old 90 meg hard drive, also still have a old TI-99 texas instruments computer i used to use to reprogram my old atari 2600 games with)

on another note... the wall of glare with Venom works well if you use darksteel plate use Siren's Call
