This is nothing fantastic, but you can control your opponent's draws even with no cards in hand.

Unfortunately you need 2 blue permanents and 5 mana, but pretty decent for a fateseal!

Its not as bad as 5 mana, just cause you'd only spend all 5 if you did choose to fateseal. Really good, I would definitely use this.

but when you tap a land or a permanent with multiple effects, don't you only tap for one effect, not all? i may be confused...

He was just saying that when you tap for the effect, you can't tap it for mana too.
