Hook both of these on Spitemare and like the title implies, piss off a burn player.

Furnace of Rath is fantastic for YOU to be playing. Because any damage they deal to use is doubled, then doubled again as its redirected to spitemare, then doubled AGAIN as its sent to your opponent. so if your player only hit you with a lightning bolt, thats 24 damage directed at your opponent. But I mean this doesn't stop just burn players, its going to stop any player that expects to win through bringing an opponent down to 0 life.

I have 2 Furnace of Rath. I'll try to get another one and make a deck out of this and previous combos I posted. Another card that would be overkill with Furnace of Rath would be Flameblast Dragon.

This is why my burn deck has everlasting torment. It stops combos like these.

Yeah but I could just run Melira making Everlasting Torment Useless against this deck.

this is a good combo, i've used this (also works for Mogg Maniac rather nicely)also... dont forget Grafted Exoskeleton for the infect win when they decide to hit you with 10 or more damage. or if you play Volcano Hellion it can end the game fast

i have this stuff in a deck i have... but i splash black into it for simulacrum (for killing a second player with another goblin or spitemare)simulacrum and Sudden Spoiling and other goodies like that

yes... this is the idea behind a full deck i have had running for a while... pretty nasty

I would like to correct a misunderstanding of the rules; if you have this combo, your opponent has furnace of wrath (or fire servant), and they hit you with a lightning bolt. First, sent you aren't dealt damage (it is redirected) the damage doesn't double. Then, your creature would take six damage (3 doubled), except its toughness is 3 so it only takes 3 damage. Lastly, your creature deals 6 damage to your opponent (3 doubled). So, they take double the damage that they are trying to deal to you, with a maximum of 6 damage. Not 8 times the damage. Just thought I'd clear that one up.

A: A creature can take more damage than it has toughness.

B: When it is redirected, it is doubled.
