1) Have all cards on field.
2) Pay 1 mana, remove a +1/+1 from Pentavus: create two pentavites.
3) Sacrifice a pentavite: get 2 mana.
4) Pay 1 mana, sacrifice a pentavite: place 2 +1/+1 counters on Pentavus. (at this point you have net: add one +1/+1 counter on Pentavus.)
5) Pay 1 mana, remove a +1/+1 from Pentavus: create two pentavites.
6) Sacrifice a pentavite: get 2 mana. (at this point you have net: get 1 mana, get one pentavite.)

this can create two infinite loops depending on how its played:
a) loop 1 through 4 over and over and you will get infinite counters on Pentavus.
b) loop 1 through 6 over and over and you will get infinite colorless mana and infinite pentavite tokens.

use whichever you prefer. :)

on a sidenote, some of you might ask "why suggest the first infinite loop when the second is so much better?" and my response is because its not always better. equipping a pariah's shield on an infinity/infinity creature is better than equipping it to a 1/1 token.

Dear Santa,

All I want for Christmas is Doubling Season. Please note, if you decide to get me Doubling Season, by default, you have to get me two.

Forever your pal,

lol nice one!
your opinions on parallel lives? some of my friends think its better than doubling season (because of -1/-1 counters) but i think that you are more likely to put it in a deck that buffs itself up than put it in a deck to be anti-infect.

Now there just needs to be a parallel lives for counters!

That's called Doubling Season. . .

Parallel Lives is better in certain circumstances. If you are making tokens, use it, because it costs 2 less mana.
