Put a Cathodion in play with Prototype Portal, sac it to Throne of Geth to add 3 to your mana pool and proliferate, Droos Scorpion untaps Prototype Portal, use the 3 mana and tap Prototptype to make another Cathodion, sac it and do  it over and over again.

Yeah, last I checked, Throne of Geth's activated ability cost was:
", Sacrifice a creature: Proliferate."
Since you have two artifacts that require tapping to activate, two Dross Scorpions are needed.

Also, in my opinion, a combo fails to be "new" if you post a variation of another combo with almost the exact same cards four times in as many weeks. Just saying... your dedication to making this combo work is admirable, but... there's no kind way to say this. There's a thin line between "dedication" and "fanaticism".

Yeah, i mean proliferate is good for creatures with +1/+1 counters, but not that many other things.  and I have seen u post like 20 proliferate combos. I just think you should expand a bit.

proliferate is good for....
1) adding another infect counter to your opponent.
2) adding another counter to darksteel reactor or, even more fun, magistrate's scepter.
3) adding another +1/+1 counter to any arcbound creature.

my top three reasons to proliferate. :]

Their's also adding loyalty counters to planeswalkers.

Listen guys:

Mechanist just has the inability to post non-artifact, non-proliferation combos. Don't mock him for it. Some people are just born with these things.
