Throw in mana ramp and tap out to deal massive damage and gain massive life.

Three colors. . . this doesn't really have a use in a game, Armadillo Cloak is much better on other green or white creatures, and there are much better ways to give a red creature lifelink.

Yeah, I'm with Lin on this, just giving a creature that can deal damage lifelink can be done way easier. But this is more just a friendly suggestion of two cards that are good, it's not really a combo.

Well, considering you have a Flameblast Dragon in the combo, you can put Furnace of Rath in T4, in T6 the Flameblast Dragon, and in the next turn, use the X ability along with Tainted Strike to end the game. This is better for make the combo work in only two colours.

The reason this combo is Nay-coloed is because I want to use Armadillo Cloak on Hammerfist Giant, Flameblast Dragon, Volcanic Dragon, and Kilnmouth Dragon. I'm gonna use Khalni Heart Expidition  and Harrow to ramp into them and use Enlightened Tutor to search out Armadillo Cloak and Bear Umbra.

though i know it isnt a true combo by itself, i see what mechanistlegend is trying to do... i think they are trying to show a deck idea rather than a combo in particular (after all.. good decks are based on combos if i am not mistaken)

Also, if i am not mistaken, he is trying to inspire people to come up with new ideas, so lets not be critics on that regard

Well...I don't know...I just thought the concept of flaming (As in flaming homosexual) and Lifegain (Like lifelink, as in a vault skirge) was just plain awesome...I'm not criticizing I'm just sharing my vision on a potential sexual inneuendo that can be applied here...as far as the combo...meh it's not bad...it's just nothing we haven't seen already...like the shear volume of intruder alarm combos...I demand amusement! Release the Smurfelope drones!

...k. id totally run that beside vigor, toss in a privileged position, hell lets go wild and add mirari's wake. thats some ramp, protection for ur permanents....then just blast away ur own cretures, gain life and watch
them grow!!!

I LOVE armadillo cloak.  I think it's way over powered for 3cc, but this is not an awesome combo really.
