Okay, first off, this is not a reasonable combo, so dont go all "wow pinkie youd never get this combo out!" It uses unglued stuff so shut up its not supposed to be reasonable!

You need to start out with the infinite mana and infinite draw engines of your choice on the board, along with concordant crossroads, earth surge, upwelling and the orrery! Play mindslaver, and take their turn! Float infinite mana at the end of your turn with upwelling!
On their turn, flash in sky swallower to give them your infinite stuff! Then draw and play their entire deck!
Then, using your floated infinite mana, play mirrorweave on your chaos confetti creature! Then Activate the abilities on all of their chaos orbs with you mana, and tear up their entire deck! (Dont activate the orbs that are copies of your stuff!)

elaborate, decadent. i imagine it would only see fruition in a "gentlemen's" game...

Isn't it just a parody of chaos orb?

Supposedly, someone at a tournament ripped up the card and threw it onto the field to destroy more cards. And it actually worked.

That did happen! and they have changed the rulling so it could never happen again. I believe the prize for winning  was a booster box of beta.

Doesn't progenitus have protection from ripping?

I wouldn't think they'd have booster boxes during Beta. . .

Yes, Progenitus has protection from ripping. The question is whether Progenitus has protection from nothing.
