ISLAND is SKAAB RUINATOR from Innistrad

as long as you have 3 creatures in your opening hand, you can play the Ruinator at the cost of discarding your hand.  and since there is no cost to doing this, I would suggest playing a ponder or something first, and letting this resolve first. 

This is pretty much turning into a god-hand situation, but it could be nice.

also, I just like to find uses for lion's eye diamond because it's a tough card to use effectively.

Those cards were meant to go together. They aren't that good together, but it fits so perfectly. . .

It doesn't seem "semi-broken" or OP to me.

3 for a 5/6 flier is amazing. The thing about the 3 creatures makes the card good, but not amazing.

And then theres the ability to play it from your graveyard! So it works great against mill, and works well with dredge!

It's not super easy to get 3 creatures in the graveyard by turn 3 typically, so i don't think it's broken really.

This is VERY HIGH RISK/HIGH REWARD. God, if your opponent has any of 100+ removal spells in the game in his hand ur screwed. Heck, even a bounce spell works fine cause even if you do have the mana to recast you prolly don't have the creatures to exile in ur graveyard. Now you have no creature advantage, no card advantaged, and no land advantage.

Hum... but think this card as a end gamer, around turn 4, 5, or more. He will still susceptible to destroys, but anyway, its certain headache to the opponent. If we create some mechanism similar to Void Maw ability, but with a less cost... this would be great!
I know that I gived the impression that the last topic was SERIOUSLY, but I was just kidding when i wrote "semi-broken", calm down guys.... it's really a nice card but its obvious that it aren't an EPIC card. Unless someone create a deck around that ability (that I think it's hard, but possible). : D

You could make a pseudo-dredge deck around that ability. With Extractor Demon and Unearth.

Lol. I just realized this doesn't work. Since the ruinator say "As an additional cost remove three creatures from the graveyard" those creatures have to be in the graveyard before the ruinator gets put on the stack so you can meet the cost. If you use loin's eye diamond before you put ruinator on the stack you discard ruinator. You cound do this with dark rit, a swamp, and buried alive (i think that was the cards name). The one that puts 3 creatures in ur graveyard.
