I believe you mean, "flash phage, then lose"

Flash "puts a creature into play" which is not the same as "casting it from your hand". So you would lose if you tried to flash Phage. Phage has to be hard-casted.

actually this is a really good idea, you have to remember nothing goes on the stack while something else is resolving.

flash phage, she enters then leaves before anything else, triggering both phages lose ability and whispers ability.  When flash is done resolving then you put the triggers on the stack.  Since you control both you control the order, put phages lose the game trigger on the stack first, then whispers trigger above that, whispers resolves putting phage into play under your opponents control, triggering her lose ability again, it goes on the stack above yours so it resolves first.  you win.

@ Gericault5:

wait a second, so this actually works? or does phage's "lose the game" ability not use the stack?

This does not work, because Phage would come into play under your opponent's control at the end of the turn (read Endless Whispers again!) - needs a Stifle or similar to counter the triggered ability which makes you lose when you Flash in Phage.

Unfortunately not, if you do it in the end step you have already passed the point where 'at the beginning of the end step' triggers happen.

There are a few ways around this:

1. Use Stifle to counter Phage's trigger when she enters the battlefield via Flash
2. Use Torpor Orb to prevent Phage from triggering when she is flashed in, and then sacrifice it or destroy it afterwards (before she comes back into play for your opponent)
3. [redacted - does not work with the current wording of whispers]

Yup, that would work (obv as long as it resolves before Phage) - Pltinum Angel also works for this.

sorry, forgot about the return at end of turn part, my bad, thanks for the correction Zark

In regards to angels grace (and I read it this time :)), anything that prevents you from losing the game such as angels grace or platinum angel, would work as long as they are in play before your lose the game trigger resolves
