I don't think this works.  the priest makes red mana, and with the dawn, red mana is colourless, so you can't use it as blue.  mycosynth?

actually, read celestial dawn, it makes everything white, including all casting costs and abilities etc....

<a href="http://gatherer.wizards.com/pages/card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=3481

says it does make it white mana (as all mana symbols on all cards are affected too according to wizards of the coast)

@draco

your the one that needs to reread celestial dawn, everyone else gets it.  It doesn't change the costs it lets you use white mana to pay the costs, and even if it did switch the costs to white, you have red which becomes colorless not white.

You can make it work by switching freed from real with aura of dominion

@ Draco

I think you were assuming Celestial Dawn was Mycosynth Lattice. I would think so too, if I hadn't read the card more carefully.

i have celestial dawn... the card (it is from mirage), it actually says "All nonland cards you own that are not in play are white. All nonland permanents you control are white. All lands you control are plains. all colored mana symbols in all costs and on all these cards and permanents are (white mana symbol)."

Yeah, I have the 6th edition printing and that really messed me up for a while, so they errated it to be much clearer.

after it says all costs, it also says "and on all these cards and permanents are (white mana symbol)." that part is what i am referring to

Ok couple of things here

1st - Oracle text has the final say of what a card says and the oracle text says white can be used as any color to pay the costs.  It does not change the color of the mana symbol.  Oracle text can be found by going to the 2nd link Draco provided and pressing the word Oracle

2nd - the rulings listed on the page provided by Draco states that "Mana produced by spells and non land permanents are not affected by Celestial Dawn"  then gives en example how llanowar elves still will produce G.  there fore the priest still produces RRR

3rd - If playing by card text rather the oracle text, according to the link provided, the card text actually reads: All colored mana symbols in all costs on all these cards and permanents are (white mana symbol)."  You both added an extra '"and" which changed how the text reads.  As it actually reads only the costs are changed and the priests mana is an effect not a cost.

sorry this does not work as it currently stands, switch to aura of dominion to make it work
