There's a ruling on the card (courtesy of Gatherer) that says that Relentless Assault "only creates an additional combat and main phase if it resolves during a main phase", and since Spellbinder forces the Instant spell to resolve during a combat phase... what's the kindest way I can put this?

Question: If you keep choosing the second option wouldn't that give u infinate combat phases? Combine with whispersilk cloak for auto kill?

Rav, why would you need Whispersilk Cloak?

1. missed that combo the first time.

2. The cloak makes the creature unblockable. Since u have to do the damage to player to trigger the free cast, unblockable seems like a nice add.

Edit: The shroud the cloak gives also prolly won't hurt much either.

Or you can just wait until you have more creatures or until they are tapped out.

true, but they only need 1 creature available to block to stop u, or an unsummon. This way, you are in control.

or use invisible stalker from innastrad which has both hexproof and unblockable
