Hook Armadillo Cloak onto Hammerfist Giant to deal 4 damage to each non-flyer and each player and gain 4 life for each thing you damaged.

Pretty cool! You gain a minimum of 12 life, and the giant doesnt die!

Plus you can hook Umbra Mantle and Darksteel plate to it also to do it twice per turn, I would say to add an infinite mana loop to do it infinitely but the chances of getting all the cards out to do are very slim.

Another thing you can do is use Gerrard's Command to untap it and give it +3/+3 until end of turn that way it's getting a boost of +5/+5 and you can tap it again and  it survive.

Plus you can add Darksteel Plate and Furnace of Rath for even more fun.
