Deal one to the mare have it deal 2 to you redirect to the mare deal 4 to you etc... untill you can kill your opponent

Really cool! Pariah is a bit cheaper than the shield though! Lets you get the combo going faster!

@Mechanist, this is A LOT better than yours, because this is a lot more reasonable to pull off. Besides you required darksteel forge and mycosynth lattice, which usually is a win as it is.

Does it really work like you described? I believe that you can't consider Pariah's Shield as a source of damage. However, you simply don't need it. Once spitemare is undestructible, it can redirect damage to itself infinite times until you have enough damage to kill the opponent.

The shield is somewhat unnecessary, but it enables you to get around the pesky just don't block spitemare strategy
