Or you could not have the gate out and just use pestilence! Or you could have a GOOD card out, like akroma! Or you could keep it mono black and have out a black creature that can actually take advantage of the fact that there are no other creatures out, like stillmoon cavalier, or spirit of the night!

Also, what the fuck is the point of having a wall if theres nothing for it to block?!

This is a very useful combo. I have it in a Pestilence deck that also has Urza's Armor (To keep me from losing the life) and Stuffy doll, which doubles the damage to the opponent.

This is my very first post and I get a response from the mylittlepony profile?! Look dude,you may "think" you know a good comb when you see one, but all it takes is the right timing and this can spell g-a-m-e in no time.

Oh and for your information if you are dumb enough to play a pestilence by itself ,then have fun sending it to your graveyard at the end of the turn.

Im not saying you should play pestilence by itself, but whats the point of playing it if you cant attack afterwards and take advantage of the lack of creatures on the board?!

Will do turbine, seems like this overly critical environment is begining to weaken the spirit of this site.And for someone to say at any time that a combo isnt or wasnt intended is absurd! These cards are made to be put together in all manners and diversities.This is why when Ice Age came out the original deckmaster back was used;so that previos sets would and could be included without changing the games stategy.To say they arent meant to be put together not only shows you dont know the general mechanics of c.c.g.s but undermines the creators of these cards themselves.Im pretty sure the designers of new sets HAVE to take in consideration the cards already in print to date.And sometimes things do fall through the cracks.(which is why we have banned cards)that we have collectively decided were just too powerfull all by themselves,much more so in combination with just about any other medium powerfull cards.
