this is not a good combo. it makes it easier to kill Jace. you could add darksteel forge, thats another 9 mana. by the time you pulled this of the game would already be over.

@krowbar
also, its a lot more plausible then playing Mana Echoes, Darksteel Forge, Myr Matrix, Staff of Domination, 2 Leaden Myrs, and 2 Silver Myrs.

Ok, yes this is a "combo" in the fact that it is indeed a combination of cards. But could you ever ever EVER find me a situation where you might ever use this? If a combo is so unreasonable and so bad that no one would ever use it, then whats the point in even posting it? it makes about the same amount of sense as someone posting a combo with 5 banned cards that no one has. So then I guess that means theres no way that any of us will be able to reason with you.

Of course you're just trolling (theres no way that anyone who seriously plays magic would be so stupid to think this is a combo). I'm just dissapointed that someone thinks its necessary to plague this site with more useless combos because they have no life outside of the internet.

Hey PinkiePie,
Where do I sign up for that other website. The URL you posted didn't work.
I guess a website where people don't post useless combos is just an unattainable fantasy.

I second the Captain's motion, thereby agreeing with all aforementioned parties post on the subject of "trolling" and "useless combos". If you could find a viable situation for said combo, then you may be able to sway my vote. as is, no.

Also, you guys dont fucking know how to have fun! So what if the combo isnt amazing and doesnt automatically win you the game?! If it does something cool then that shouldnt really matter! I dont play magic to win all the time! The only EDH builds i run are a Norin that just causes mayhem and doesnt have a wincon, and a 5 color group hug, so I can enjoy the game im playing instead of taking all the fun out of it and concentrating solely on winning!

Is has nothing to do with winning or losing, I really don't care whether or not I win, as long as it was a good game against someone who has a good deck. Its more fun to lose against a good player than it is to beat someone who doesn't know what they're doing, I think that most people would agree with that. If someone played this combo against me, I would probably just walk away because they're missing a major point - there has to be a degree of competition. If you were playing baseball and the pitcher continuously and purposefully walked all of the hitters, people would be frustrated because it's almost insulting to make no attempt to win.

There is certainly nothing wrong with a deck thats made to have fun. One of my favorite EDH decks is a Mistform Ultimus deck that just messes around with creature types. Its never won a single match either, but people are ok playing against it because it still provides a degree of competition (and if filled with fun multiplayer effects). But what you're doing is just stupid. Just plain and simple stupid.

Why is giving a planeswalker (normally a very cool card) the ability to attack stupid?! Also, im not saying that i built an entire deck around this combo and i bring it to compete in every pro tour, its just a combo that i thought of and decided to share with the MTGC community!

Planeswalkers are fragile, the last thing you want to do is attack with them, especially with Jace. Karn Liberated would have been a far better suggestion, but like twogunkid said, if you want to attack with a planeswalker, just go with Gideon, he's a far better option.

Not to mention that if you were to play these cards, you'd make your planeswalkers far more susceptible to removal. Also, you'd destroy all lands (not sure if it matters but I thought I'd mention that). I'd consider this reasonable if you were making the planeswalker a creature for some other reason (like adding Experimental Kraj or something else that can take advantage of it), but if you need another attacker, don't use a planeswalker. There is never any reason to.

@pinky...wheres your brain? lol...my combo you talked about is much more likely of winning and happening. for one lots of artifact mana ramp and fabricate to find the missing pieces. I think infinate indistructable myr, infinate life and, infinate card draw is a little better than a 4/4 easily killed Jace.

So I know this is a little late but after doing a little bit of research, if Pinkie added Quicksilver Elemental or maybe an Experimental Kraj they would be able to kill an opponent by using the + ability to get enough loyalty counters to ultimate them to death. Please correct me if Im wrong but I'll include a link.

Also that was'nt me jumping to defend PinkiePie. I really think it was stupid that you would post something like this without actually looking to win the game. I mean there are combos that I have seen that look cool but THIS is just stupid.

Hell, I'd run this combo so I could say, "Remember the time I attacked you with Jace?" The only reason I won't play this combo is I don't own Jace. But someone could use this combo on me if they attacked me with Chandra or Lilibabe... hurts so good...

I 100% agree with captains most recent post (thanks for being level headed + logical) and @ sir003: no, planeswalker abilities are "loyalty abilities" not activated abilities, so expirimental kraj's ability wouldn't work. however, i once saw a friend of mine use this combo to make chandra a creature. then, they gave chandra infect and used her final ability to give a player ten poison counters, and put 8 -1/-1 counters on all of that players creatures (which actually included a platinum angel)

@T}{3 0l\l3 VV}{0 1S I would consider what you just said about chandra a very cool planeswalker combo

@captain
EXACTLY, YOUR DESTROYING ALL LANDS SO NOBODY CAN REMOVE YOUR PLANESWALKER AND YOU BOUNCE THEIR DEFENDING CREATURES WITH JACE, AND THEN YOU SWING A FEW TIMES AND KILL THEM!

@T()[{///||{}
Actually they are activated abilities!
"Remove X counters: do Y"
Stifling planeswalker abilities is fun....!

I could be wrong (I don't use planeswalkers usually), but I believe that YES, planeswalkers abilities are called "loyalty abilities", but "loyalty abilities" are a subset of activated abilities. The only difference is that loyalty abilities have the caveat of "activate only once per turn, activate only during your turn". So Kraj I think does work, but he starts at 0 loyalty counters, and has to work up from there.

Yuuuuuuuuuup! Unfortunately you can still only use 1 per turn!

"606.3. A player may activate a loyalty ability of a permanent he or she controls any time he or she has priority and the stack is empty during a main phase of his or her turn, but only if no player has previously activated a loyalty ability of that permanent that turn."
