Power Artifact on top of the Monolith gives u TONS of mana! Then with the Crawler on the table, keep drawing cards with the Staff's 5th ability - Good Game! :-)

The staff certainly is sweet, its just a shame that its banned in EDH. Any infinite mana combination can be used too, I don't think many players (especially the newer ones) have power artifacts and basalt monoliths laying around.

All I play nowadays is MTGO. I haven't played paper in over 3 yrs. It's just SO much more budget friendly. Anyways, the monolith & the Power Artifact were released just last year in Master's Edition 4. Pretty cheap too, under .35 cents each. :-)  Speaking of EDH, I play alot of that too. And yes, I was also upset the Staff got banned in that format. On the other hand, I was VERY happy they banned Emrakul!!
