Okay pretend Lightning Greaves are Swiftfoot Boots for now because I don't know if they'll work in this combo and Swiftfoot Boots aren't in the database.

First get Weathered Guard equipped with the Darksteel Plate and then Swiftfoot Boots, and vulah! The only way they can damage you now is by exiling Swiftfoot Boots and then tapping your creature.

ha, it only protects you from combat damage, and you can still easily get rid of the bodyguards: any of the edict cards, final judgement.

Ah crap! I totally didn't see that! *facepalm*

In that case what about Melira equipped with Darksteel Plate coupled with Phyrexian Unlife?

True Believer , Pariah's Shield, Shield of Kaldra
Animate Artifact
Animate Artifact
Asceticism
Elspeth, Knight-Errant
the list can go forever if you chose... just keep the believer alive

or

Ivory Mask
Privileged Position
Privileged Position
Elspeth, Knight-Errant

that way... anything short of mass exile, you are untargetable, same as all permanents you control (you can still target though)

Taking Stuffy Doll and Equipping it with Pariah's Shield would be a good combo.

You guys are chasing windmills here. I.e. Fantasy. There is no perfect combo that make you invulnerable. There are plenty that come pretty close. We play this game because there is always a way around a problem so we always have a chance. If there wasn't a way around, some one would have won some tourneys with it and everyone would be playing it which would ruin the game.

Just off of the top of my head, this breaks most of them.

Evacuation, Obliteration, and Force of Will.

Plus those 5 Cycling cards for if you can't cast a spell.

Rav,

That's a mighty big critter to have off the top of your head. I hate to see how big the hat is...
