Sorin Markov or Mindslaver is in play. Donate either Carrion Howler, Souldrinker or Unspeakable Symbol. Or instead of Donate you can also use Legerdemain. Then activate either ability to control their turn and DRAIN THEIR LIFE DOWN for their own defeat.

Could work, with a few caveats:

1. Don't use Carrion Howler. They will just pay 2 life to make it 0 toughness and kill it before you can gain control. (UNLESS you have a way of donating it at instant speed during the turn you control, e.g. Bazaar Trader from Worldwake)

2. Unspeakable Symbol and the Spirit both require your opponent to be on a life total which is a multiple of 3 in order for this to kill them. Remember, you cannot play an ability with a cost you cannot pay, so if they are on 1 or 2 life you cannot make them spend 3 life on the effect. (although they will be easy to kill!)
