First of all - Hello! I am Darth Mahruk, just joined, long time player!

Okay, the combo:

Play the swamp, tap for B, cast Dark Ritual and Cabal Ritual (or 2 Dark Rituals), for 4 (or 5 Black Mana floating), cast Buried Alive for 3 to place Karrthus, Bladewing, and a Thrall into the graveyard. With the remaining 1 black, cast Reanimate on Bladewing. His ability resolves, bringing out  Karrthus, and the Thrall bounces back in automatically. You now have 3 flyers out on turn 1, with 11 points of hasted damage!  Turn 2 win capability, and yes, I have had this godhand go off before, as it only needs 5 cards in hand to go off on turn 1.

You can use the 2 dark rituals instead of the cabal ritual, for use on an Animate Dead, but then you only have 10 points of turn one damage.

The mono black refers only to the spells used. My deck uses no mana other than Black. Karrthus and Bladewing are not cast, simply animated or returned to play.

Cabal ritual is no good for turn one, because its not good until you've hit threshold, which you wouldn't have yet. But yeah sounds like a lot of reanimation decks.

Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund is three colors. Mono Black refers to all the cards, not just the mana. Can you play this is a EDH deck with a Black general?

I don't know. I don't play EDH (a horror, yes, I know). Perhaps I should have called it 2nd turn FTW reanimator dragons. All I know, is that most people simply pack up and concede the game if this comes out first turn.

The only problem is that it takes a Swamp, double Rituals, Buried Alive, Reanimate, and Animate Dead, which is 6 cards, nearly a god-hand.

No, you only need the reanimate OR the animate dead, not both. You need 2 dark rituals for the animate dead, but one dark ritual and one cabal ritual for the reanimate. Though it is better to not have to lose the 7 life for reanimating Bladewing.

Therefore, the easiest godhand is swamp, dark ritual, cabal ritual, buried alive, reanimate. I have pulled this off 3 times (the godhand draw) 3 times in about 20 plays, with one of those being a mulligan. Either way, though, this usually goes off by turn 4, where most people still won't have adequate defenses against so much flying.

i'd rather just use dark rit, buried alive, and search for 3 Demigod of Revenge.

Isn't nine cards kind of alot for a combo?

^^^Dakkon Thued has the right idea maybe throw in a demonic tutor and a dark ritual for a fourth turn kill if you're lucky.

he added a lot of unnecessary cards as options to other cards, so you don't need as many as listed. This has no more cards to any other "god hand" listed, but still, even if you pull off a turn 1 win, wheres the fun in that? That doesn't show skill or ability, it shows luck really. Let your opponents actually have a turn. Thats what I think at least.

Actually, this combo is the basis for a deck that I have built. I have 4 diabolic tutors in the deck, also 4 dark rituals and cabal rituals. As I said, my godhand draws are only 15% of the time, though one was with a mulligan. The deck usually does let the opponent have a turn or three, but after that, it is pretty much over.

There's nothing wrong about a turn 1 win once in a while.

It's a turn 2 win.

Yeah, I was talking turn 1 wins generally.
