Ok, so there's a new card that apparently MTG Combos doesn't have in their database, Sundial of the Infinite. 2 cost artifact with pay 1 and tap to end the turn (only playable on your turn). So, with that in mind; Braid of fire to secure mana making sure you always have enough, not essential but helpful, now for the combo. Sac Final Fortune to Isochron Scepter allowing you to play it over and over, when your next turn comes activate Sundial of the Infinite before your end step to end the turn immediately, now allowing the "lose the game at the beginning of the end step" to activate. Repeat as many times as you want, provided you have the (3) mana; 2 for Isochron and 1 for the Sundial.

Really surprised this hasn't been posted, I could've sworn it was, but now I guess I must have just imagined it. Kudos to you then

Also, just so I'm not forgetting anything, Last Chance and Warrior's Oath are the same as Final Fortune, same cost and everything which can be helpful if you plan on using this in an edh deck.

This is one of the errata'd ruling of time stop which has the exact same wording as sundial of the infinate.

7/15/2007: If any triggered abilities do trigger during this process, they're put onto the stack during the cleanup step. If this happens, players will have a chance to cast spells and activate abilities, then there will be another cleanup step before the turn finally ends.

With this in mind, the end of turn lose trigger should still trigger which would cause a second clean up step and cause you lose the game.

Did I say something about that card being a nightmare for rules?

your interperting the ruling wrong, it doesn't apply to this, as nothing is triggered in the process.

final fortunes lose the game is a triggered ability that goes on the stack at the beginning of the end step.  The beginning of the end step is the only point in the entire turn that can trigger, however, if you skip the end step it doesn't trigger.  Take stasis, you skip your untap step.  It's not like you can go back and untap everything because that is what should have happened.  if you skip your upkeep you don't need to pay upkeep costs.  Thats what happens here, you go from 2nd main phase to clean up skipping the end step, so you skip the 1 opportunity in the turn it can trigger.

But if you have trouble conveinceing people that, just be more simple, let final fortunes end the game trigger go on the stack, and before it resolves trigger the sundial.  As sundial says everying gets removed from the stack including the lose a game trigger.

I have previously labeled Gericault as the voice of reason. Another example of my reasoning.

K,
after looking up final fortune i agree the trigger is skipped. YOur right, AGAIN, DAMN YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ha

Stupid errata!!!!! The orginal wording made think the trigger was placed at the end of the clean up step but they changed that to the beginning of the end step.

Another way to look at it if you want another way or don't agree with ending the turn without the "end step" trigger activating. Wait until the beginning of the end step when the "you lose the game" effect is triggered and put on the stack, then activate Sundial of the Infinite, removing everything from the stack including but not limited to the "you lose the game" effect of the spell.
