First turn, play Forest, Veteran Explorer.

Second turn, play Swamp, Culling The Weak.

Now you have seven mana.

I like to play Phage or Protean Hulk here, but you can use whatever green or black seven-cost you like.

That is a lovely little combo but giving your opponent 2 free lands is potentially a killer. I like the premise of it, would need a little tinkering before going in to my deck.

If you're worried about giving your opponents' land, combine with Impending Disaster, although playing black/green you shouldn't have a problem with control... if you do you should consider another color combo :)

If I was doing control, black/green would not be my choice of colours. If you are up against a blue deck, It is around the 2-3 mana mark where things are going to get interesting. In a Legacy format, this combo could pretty much lose you the game so I would not use this in a competitive enviroment but great for casual games.
