YOu are missing something. What you are missing is that Su-chi is a creature. That is what you are missing.

su-chi is a 4/4 artifact creature. says that right in the card description. maybe I'm missing something.

Krowbar you are not missing anything. Mechanist somehow missed the text right next to the card name. I don't get it either.

better with deathmantle and phyrexian altar....people enjoy seeing your cards from renewal and they also enjoy smashing renewal

they would, but since it cost 2 colorless mana to play instead of 2ww you can cast it quicker. The overall combo is quicker all 3 cards can be played by turn 4 without mana accel. Can't say that for yours o and the opponent isn't viewing every card that enters my hand either. the upside of the combo I suggested is when su-chi hits play it goes off but in yours you have to play either enduring renewal turn 4 or su-chi, can't do both though.
