to further add nastyness to this you should throw on pariah's shield, then any spell going at you would deal damage to him and he would live. Add in lifelink and they would have a tough time going around. thats a lot of enchanting and equipping for one creature at the same time though. Game may be over too quick, good idea for sure though.
