Fungal BehemothEnlarge

Fungal Behemoth

{3}{G}

Creature — Fungus

Planar Chaos

Read rules for Fungal Behemoth
Fungal Behemoth's power and toughness are each equal to the number of +1/+1 counters on creatures you control. Suspend X—{X}{G}{G}. X can't be 0. (Rather than cast this card from your hand, you may pay {X}{G}{G} and exile it with X time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter. When the last is removed, you may cast it without paying its mana cost. It has haste.) Whenever a time counter is removed from this card while it's exiled, you may put a +1/+1 counter on target creature.

use the combo to build up the ancient (which you can move however you want) and the behemoth becomes huge.

I wouldn't think you'd even need the Behemoth. GG to put a +1/+1 counter on a creature is amazing! Especially with Primeval Titan and land search.

Now, this is an appropriate combo to use Doubling Season with.

Plus if you use Doubling Season with proliferation you'll be putting 2 counters on all your permanents instead of 1.

Inexorable Tide works better than Contagion Engine. Both turn 4 mana into 2 proliferations, but Inexorable will let you do it as long as you have the mana. I think people give Contagion Engine too much credit sometimes, it always seems to be the first thing people go to when they need to proliferate.

Empty Throne is great. So is Verduran Enchantress/Mesa Enchantress. Drawing into your deck will mean drawing into any mana ramp or lands to keep bouncing and replaying the web more times each turn.

Celestial Ancient boosts the counters, plus if you have Flickering Ward and serra's sanctum, or Gaea's Cradle it just gets out of control
