Memnarch to make Quest an Artifact. March of the Machines to make it a creature. Sac Saffi, targeting Quest. Saffi returns to play at end of turn. Rinse and repeat.

Sorry turbine this doesn't work (interesting idea though) quest needs a creature to be cast to get counters not just comes into play.

Will I like interesting effects between cards this is one case I have to say go simple:  Stonehewer Giant

The combo starts out with the Quest having 5 counters. I am almost entirely sure it will work.

So it starts with 5 counters, ok didn't catch that part, thought you were trying to use the sakki cycle to get counters. 

 But even starting with 5 counters when you sac it then comes back into play, but since it changed zones it comes back as a new object and won't have any counters on it.,  you will need to cast 5 creatures to get to do it again.

Sorry, I thought Saffi said that the next time a creature would be put into a graveyard, it isn't.
