I don't know if anyone ever used this. 

I had a Hate deck.  It was built on opportunity killing (creature that isn't blocked deals the death blow).  The beauty of the deck was it had a way to kill on first turn when that was rather rare in the class I was playing and since I didn't see the combo here I was guessing that many still didn't know it existed. 

I have pulled this off several times even though it seems pretty tough to get out, but at the time I could have 4 of each in the deck and it was around the time when people were playing thinking or delayed decks so all you had to really do was get Hatred in your hand and wait to pop it when one creature wasn't blocked.

It was Swamp, Dark Ritual, Dark Ritual, Dark Ritual, Hatred, pay 19 life and win.  Since the Nether Shadow can attack the turn it hits play, game was over.

My buddy has a hatred deck... does rather well until we were playing two headed and he hatred's on a critter FTW, then the opponent fogged it. Who plays fog anymore anyways? Guess I better reconsider the fog/darkness/holy day cards...
