alternatively you could use 1 scepter, and a chamber + the card that gives you multiple upkeeps (forgot the name, sorry)

Actually there are many alternatives to this combo... Like, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Coretapper. Energy Chamber and Doubling Season. And Many More... and yeah the clockspinning thing... and my favorite Gilder Bairn...

Paradox Haze for more upkeeps. Can u use 2 Paradox Haze to get 3 upkeeps or do u just get 1 extra? "At the beginning of enchanted player's first upkeep each turn, that player gets an additional upkeep step after this step."??

I have seen someone use a deck with Magistrate Scepter and cards like Coretapper and Energy Chambers.
