The Panoptic Mirror is just so bloody usefully, and milling is just as fun!

Unfortunately, the Panoptic Mirror states that you may copy the imprinted card and play the copy "during your upkeep".  Therefore, in order for Archive Trap to have a proper target, you must have a way to force your opponent to search his/her library during or before your upkeep. Otherwise, the copied Archive Trap would have no proper target and would simply fizzle because it must resolve before the end of your upkeep. A suggestion I may make, would be to use "Fertilid"'s ability at the beginning of your upkeep to force your opponent to search their library.....then you would have a proper target for the Archive Trap. And given that your Trap would then be on the stack, you would have it trigger prior to your opponent's search, which would also reduce the number of land options they would have to search for since you have removed the top 13 cards from their library.

Actually, I just reread the Archive Trap.....I am a "tard".  The Trap works without the free mana cost trigger.  Good combo.  Cheers.

if youre gonna go that route, just spend a few extra mana to imprint Denying Wind like i do.

it costs an extra 4 mana, but in a Blue/Black or even Blue/green mill deck, its quite feasible to pull off, and its selective destruction.  (i use black land destruction and this with my mirror to remove all their lands and then damnation for critters...hilarious.)

still a fun combo tho lol

Yup, cool combo... Works with most of the traps...
