Stole this from another post that ChimneyImp commented on.

Don\'t have to be a rocket scientist to know, make three blue, got a bunch of untaps to make whatever mana you want, make some more blue, and then spend some X!

Lol, I just realized, now add Splinter Twin to the Lotus!  Mega Multi Infinite Mana and a wall of ready to go 5/5s!  lol

add coat of arms for the insult to injury as you kill them with one single creature that isnt supposed to be a creature at all... only need 1 more to attack than they possess... but make as many as you like (for added power/toughness)

I don't think that coat of arms would work with this. March of the Machines makes artifacts creatures, but it doesn't add creature types.

if gericault could correct me if i am wrong on this... i think if you turn an artifact into a creature it is a creature type "construct" unles it has a specific wording that tells you what type it will become ... look at Chimeric Sphere for examlple

That was an errata to all the artifacts that made themselves into creatures.  This was because in old magic, artifact creatures didn't have creature types

Lin is correct the errta only applies to a specifice type of artifact,

march of the machines does not grant creature types, and cards do not automatacially gain one unless told so by another card, so there will be no bonus granted by the coat.

though you can give it a type via xenograft, then it will get the bonus
