Lace with Moonglove can work as Gorgon Flail substitute. Equip the Frostwielder with the flail and the thornbite staff. Proceed to remove all enemy creatures from the game. You have now cleared the way for your creatures to attack unblocked. Best part of this combo? It doesn't use any rares.

nice- though you don't need thornbite staff, i like the remove from game, though the old standby sharpshooter/deathtouch is still king-

The Thornbite Staff would not work, since the creature would not go into the graveyard.

Cunning Sparkmage is a better choice at 2R. It also has haste so you can trigger it immediately provided you have 2 extra to equip the Gorgon Flail.
