oops! NEVERMIND! i'm not too familiar with suspend.  i wasn't really thinking about the fact that it's not a permanent because it's not in play.

On a side note, Dakkon Blackblade is top 5 art in MTG history.

Dakkon is the man!

Back in Legends day he was in most of the decks I had.  I've had him at 20/20 at least once in a multi-player game.

I disagree. Nichol Bolas had an awesome art.

even if you think nicol has better art, you have to admit, Dakkon's is radical.  It was also the first commander i ever used in my first EDH, so that's why he's my pic. . .

btw, i realize he's not the best commander, but i liked the colors and it got bigger pretty much every time you put it in play.

Yea, but with Nicol you have to clarify which art was best because in Legends he looked like a darn panzy!

The Legends version is better than the Conflux version, as a card and in art.

I did say top 5, but I would definitely not go with Ncol Bolas for top art (Legends version). If we went by pictures alone, Dakkon Blackblade pic would walk right up to that book reading dragon pic and cut it in half.

If you're gonna go with an Elder Dragon for art, you go Chromium. That dood is downright intimidating... but don't take my word for it... shop and compare below:

Chromium also had the cool Rampage ability.  Talk about a precursor to how abilities today would work.  So for each creature that blocked it he would get +2/+2.

I couldn't believe that Nicol won out become a planeswalker instead of Arcades Sabboth, but I'm glad because I liked Nicol better.

I agree Chrominum has the better art to Nicol.  also, just a side note, rampage isn't as good as what you stated because it gets +2/+2 for each creature blocking it beyond the first.

Beyond the first.  Didn't remember that part.
