Someone else was posting this up and I wanted to use it combo wise.  This is simply the engine and there are probably better ones like Dross Scorpion sacrifice engines. 

I like the idea of using this as a Landfall generator for cards like Scrib Nibblers (exile your library, lol) or you could just go after the mana to start summoning the Eldrazi horde.


Cast Prototype Portal and put the Seat of Synod on it.  You turn the Prototype Portal into a creature via Karn's Touch.  Tap it to put the land into play.  Pay the blue through Tideforce Elemental and untap the Prototype Portal and play another Seat of Synod, which untaps the Tideforce Elemental.  Play lands until you're happy with how many lands you have.

Exactly.  You could have tons of life, tons of damage, deck your opponent, etc. etc.

If you wanted to stay mono blue the following cards would work with it.
Windrider Eel (give it +2/+2 per land)
Roil Elemental (gain control of a creature)

My favorite would be Hedron Crab (put top 3 cards of a player's library into graveyard) 
 

I picked the rats because they Exile the top card and they give you life if it's a land so you avoid pesky Eldrazi type effects. 

Otherwise this could easily be a fifth turn empty your opponent's library and when they start their turn they lose the game.
I also like replacing Karn's touch with Karn himself for the activation ability at any time.
