Solemn Simulacrum comes into play and you go get a land.  Splinter Twin him.  Tap and sacrifice the copy to Alter for a 2 card mill and then Draw a Card from Solemn.  The Scorpion untaps and you can do it all over again.

You should be able to cast pretty much every card in your arsenal on your next turn if your opponent still has a card in his library that is.

You might want to think about Spellbook or other big hand cards.

You don't need that other thing. Just Dross Scorpion

Put Splinter Twin on Dross Scorpion. Create clone, sacrifice it, then causing Dross Scorpion to untap. Infinite clones to mill them. Can be combo'd with a bunch of other stuff, like Disciple of the Vault (Currently illegal in most tournaments) or anything that will give you life for every artifact that comes into play.

I'm aware of how that works. 

This one allows you to use other abilities like Landfall activation (Nibblers) or Card Draw effects (Underworld Dreams, Jace Erasure) and you can even speed up the process and since the combo doesn't really need all its cards to start working you have options. 

But thanks for the input.
