By my understanding of deathtouch this should work. However, given my recent being proven wrong on many things (protection from, those stupid new blocking rules, etc.) I\'m going to state my knowledge of it. A creature that\'s been dealt damage by a source with deathtouch since the last time state-based actions were checked is destroyed as a state-based action.  So the Archers tap with the long bow. Ptwang! Dead creature.

According to the new rules the defending player selects the order in which his creatures, if multiple creatures block, take damage, basicly all creatures have half-banding.
