Sorry, but its about time we shared this combo with the world... (I stumbled across it the other day when I was wondering how we can use quillspike against poisen or wither type decks...)

Basically here is how your turns will go:

1. Play a turn one card if you have any, do whatever. haha

2. Play devoted druid

3. Play quillspike and/or bladed pinions if you have the mana (say, turn one was a lanlowar elves or something)

4. Go ahead and equip bladed pinions using mana from one land and from druid. Use druid\'s untap ability and it gets a -1/-1 counter. Tap the druid again, then use thiis green mana to pay for quillspike\'s ability to remove the counter. Untap the druid and then tap.... use this mana...

Basically you have a stupid little infinite combo here that works out quite nicely.

If you wanted, instead of bladed pinions, though it is a bit riskier from a mana viewpoint, you could go ahead and use cloak of mists instead. Some people might prefer horned helm or vorrac battlehorns, but this is risky because of various spells like devouring light, vengeful dreams, or exile.

Or you could even add lightning greaves to swing with on turn 3., but his would require a lanlowar elves, devoted druid, quillspike + lightning greaves.

Also, surestrike trident if you want to risk waiting.

Anyways, sorry to ramble but I think we get how this combo works. Play devoted druid and quillspike and then figure out how you want to make the quillspike\'s power your win condition.

Thanks!

Ran the deck. Best with something like Whispersilk Cloak.

A (very friendly) word of advice:

When you come across a combo, try to figure out which cards are absolutely ESSENTIAL and which cards are just making it better. Then search if the core of the combo has already been posted.

In this case, the core is Quillspike+Devoted Druid.

thanks for the advice. Its going to be pretty rare to see origonal combo's, but I understand what you mean. Its kind of frustrating to look at some of these posts that are like 6 card infinite combos that are so pointless and not practical, I think we can all see what a fun combo the core is and apologies for putting the extra equipment and not researching it. Thank you for the advice though.
