This is an effective way to gain control of your opponent's creatures.

Summon The Wretched, then enchant it with Lure.

Attack with The Wretched. When The Wretched is blocked, cast Tangle. Tangle will prevent all combat damage, but you will still take control of any creatures blocking The Wretched.
