Phyrexian Hydra can't have the counters placed on him, but the damage is still prevented.  pretty nice combo.

Isn't he pretty much indestructable the way he sits? 

Make him Hexproof and unblockable and bump him a couple of power and you got a one way win on your hands. lol

yea thats why you add pariah's shield then any damage dealt to you goes to the indestructible hydra instead

your good man just letting ya know the best thing rather than use him as a nice big 7/7 use him as a constant damage shield
