Everyone is pretty familiar with relentless rats, but aluren really makes the task of pulling off this kind of deck easier. Essentially, as long as aluren is out, relentless rats is always going to be casted for free, and magus of the future allows you to play the top card of your deck which means a lot of potential for chaining rats into play. At this point, the only cards that could get revealed on top of your deck that you can\'t just put into play are lands and doubles of the cards in this combo. Fortunately, aluren allows the rats to still be counted as being \"casted\" which means dropping one green mana for some glimpse of natures here and there will be beneficial for scooping up those extra cards into your hand and off the top of your deck. If lands are still giving you trouble, azusa can allow you to play extras, which helps for putting down forests for glimpse of nature. This combo, whether or not running at maximum efficiency, can easily provide enough relentless rats to overwhelm the opponent. For extra speed and brutality, one can add enchantments/artifacts that give all your creature haste or trample.

I see one problem with this deck.  The heavy color usage.

3 blue in one spell, 2 green in another and 2 black for the rats and this thing has to get roaring fast and doaling out massive damage, which is what rats should do, so dropping 2 black right away to start casting rats is a priority.

Once your combo gets rolling its a nightmare, but I'm afraid that by the time the combo gets kicking you'll be too injured to mount an effective offense.

In reality, I would love to see this combo in a deck.  I would also love to see it with a offset ideal, for instance, pop a ton of rats out and then sack them to an Alter of Dementia to deck your opponent or Fling one at him would be even cooler.

Can you imagine you see this big pop and suddenly some schmuck is throwing a rat at you for 20 damage!  I would fall over laughing seeing that go down.

Yeah i thought of that too, that's why i tried looking for a card to replace magus of the future, but unfortunately he's like one a million. You could always elvish piper the magus into play or something along those lines.
