1. Play Thopter Asembely

2. Play Slag Fiend

3. Crush the Thopters and play Thopter Asembely again.

Meanwhile Slag keeps gowing and growing....

sorry burst your bubble but tokens don't go into the graveyard it would be just like destroying your own stuff because you can

tokens do hit the graveyard. They are then RFP-ed, but they do trigger goes to graveyard effects

like i said they tecnically do not stay in the graveyard they go back to your token pile even if they do activate abilities

You can try and crush the thopters, but their creature and dont stay in the graveyard being tokens.

twogunkid and linn sivvi are correct, this combo doesnt work as they are artifact creatures, and tokens vanish forever (exiled forever or cease to exist) once they hit the grave (sorry to repeat others, just confirming things)

All you need to do is find a creature that you can sac the creatures to pump permanently.

What's the name of that Green/Black/Red 2/2 that does that?  I love him for this kinda thing.

why not just play the slag feind with Traumatize (and a lot of artifact in the library of course)
