There are a lot of ways this can work, but basically the more damage you dole out to the weed the more they grow.  In fact, they exponintiate!  Not to mention they block your opponent's creature, if they're still alive that is.  Then when things finally get tangled enough the Vent Sentinel explodes.

Use that red pestilence-type enchantment to keep it to two colors...
