I've always liked Mill decks, but I've always realized that player's routinely have way less life than they do cards in their library, but deck space is always tight so bringing in new cards have to be good all around.

I've always had a weakness for Underworld Dreams.  In a true black deck there has to be something about dealing damage for just putting cards in your opponent's hands or making draw cards damage dealers.  Mix in the idea that refilling your own hand is always useful and you have a good solid combo that although may not win the game, could be the pivotal swing and a constant pain in your opponent's side.

Simply put, make your opponent draws three cards a round and take three damage in the process.  It means he has 7 turns to do something before the damage takes him/her out.

I like to add in Sign in Blood to this combo to add to the theme of the deck (a versatile 4 points of damage) or Dream Fracture for a little insult and injury.

I gotta say that's not bad. And I like how the title fits in with the whole malfegor's cup thingy. Overall a solid  3/5. (I'd give it 4/5, but howling mind is just a tad bit cheaper.) Kudos.

You know, I was thinking Howling Mine, but 2 damage a turn isn't that big a deal.  lol

I'm also big into theme decks.

You could also splash in blue. I know there are some cards that make both players draw (Trade Secrets, Zur's Weirding, Diminishing Returns, Jace Beleren, Lore Broker, Time Reversal, Vision Skeins, Windfall, Words of Wisdom) The 'theme' behind the deck could be black corrupting something that should be a boon into both players into a win condition. Kind of like a Trojan Horse... only with cards... The deck could also benefit from:
Seizan, Perverter of Truth and Spiteful Visions.

Since your drawing heavier to, what about adding some of torments dream cards. Specifically

Sickening dreams
Insidious dreams
Devesting dreams will be cool if going red

I'm a big fan of bruise decks (black/blue)
