First, you need to get Genesis into your graveyard, so that you can take advantage of its ability to return cards from the graveyard to your hand.

Second, bring Doom Cannon into play. When Ironshell Beetle comes into play, you can place a +1/+1 counter on one of your more permanent creatures. Now, sacrifice the beetle, and then bring it back with Genesis.

You will get a nice +1/+1 counter each turn, and endless ammo for your Doom Cannon.
