I couldn't get this card in:



 

1st round: play Cenn's Tactician
2nd round: Play Deftblade Elite (You should have two mana by now) and activate Cenn's Tactician's ability.
3rd round: start sniping with Deftblade as you continue boosting with Cenn's Tactician. (Akrasan Squire works beautifully with this combo btw I put it in so I could get the combo to post)

I like the idea of combining exalted and provoke, through in first strike, and you get some damn deadly combos,  especially if you add in Dueling Grounds wow, I just came up with another deck idea

I have that Field Marshal in my soldier deck, but my staple is actually Daru Warchief. I also have Mobilization and Nomad's Assembly just for swamping. My soldier is killer and all but banned from my play group.

I do have Captain of the Watch in my deck.... but I find she is almost too expensive to be of use to me in that particular deck (although granted when I DID get her out it was awesome) And yea that Warchief just makes the deck. I run three total and that has seen me through no problem.

deathtouch on a creature with prodigal sorcerer ability ... now thats effective (especially with pemmins aura)
