play this later in the game... and not all at once... so they dont see it coming...

play mana flare, torchling, and put splinter twin on it, and play pandemonium
dueling grounds, and goblin war drums
so... effectively, you are paying 2 red mana per creature you steal from opponent, and 3 damage you do to them, win win situation for you :P

It's very enchantment heavy in a red deck. Also it is very vurnable to tranquility. If you can get the attack then even in parts this could do very heavy damage. Just torchling being a 1 red untap and splinter twin is mass creatures. Add in pandiminoum and you should be set. Use the damage to kill there creatures and swing with many expendable troops. The rest seems to over complicate this.

you are right, however it is meant to overwhelm an opponent who might have a super powered deck that relies on big powerful creatures coming out fast (5-6th turn) or meant to hurt the decks that like to make you sacrifice stuff

as for the vulnerability to the stuff you mentioned... there is the rest of the deck to stop that from happening :P

Well at 1 red mana for untap you can throw 3 damange per 1 red mana as much as you want. Just 5 mana that you use to play torchling will be enough to take down most anything. Worst case it it is 15 to the face. I do admit that any cant be damaged combo will create a porblem though. I would say that Dueling Grounds weakens this since you can use mass damage form the mass creatures that do damage coming in. Confusion in the Ranks isn't bad, but still doesn't deal with shroud. All in all very powerful, but the infect could be useful for damage or life gain decks.

I like the dueling grounds and war drums combo, but really, it is it's own combo.

I got to agree with psyche, the multiple lightning bolts followed by an alpha strike makes more sense to me

Dueling grounds and goblin war drums- good combo to make your one attacker unblockable, works well with exalted, but here with confusion in the ranks and tokens leaving at end of turn they shouldn't have any blockers, so why not alpha strike.

Dueling grounds and breath of fury-do not play well together, one or the other, and since dueling grounds is hindering you its the one to go-will help stablize the mana to.

Also I might be misreading the part about giving torchling infect.  Are you refering to the token torchlings or the orginal, because if it is the orginal its not worth it since you will not attack with it and the tokens created do not gain infect because it is not an orginal charateristic of torchling.

Tainted Strike can get you 8 counters if you play the stack right. Make a token, respond to Pandemonium with Tainted Strike. The damage form
Pandemonium's trigger will do poison counters and be at power 4. Swing with the tainted Torchling for 4 more. If you have any other pump at instant speed, or double strike then that is game.

the wording is "of this creature" not of enchanted creature, so it will have all abilities, even if granted by other means

No it won't

Think about it this way, splinter twin gives the creature the ability to Tap and create a copy of itself.  So if it worked the way you say and the copy gains all abilitys the original has, then the token would gain the ability to tap  and create a copy of itself.  allowing an infinite army of what every you cast the twin on.  Kind of broken don't you think.  So it obviously can't work that way.  When you copy a card it only copies the charateristics that were printed on the orignal card. so in this case the copies will only have torchlings abilitys even if given other ones

When copying an object, the copy acquires the copiable values of the original object's characteristics and, for an object on the stack, choices made when casting or activating it (mode, targets, the value of X, whether it was kicked, how it will affect multiple targets, and so on). The "copiable values" are the values derived from the text printed on the object (that text being name, mana cost, card type, subtype, supertype, expansion symbol, rules text, power, toughness, and/or loyalty), as modified by other copy effects, by "as . . . enters the battlefield" and "as . . . is turned face up" abilities that set characteristics, and by abilities that caused the object to be face down. Other effects (including type-changing and text-changing effects), status, and counters are not copied.
